The Disability Tax Credit is a tax free credit for Canadians living with a disability.
The disability must be one which has lasted or is expected to last at least 12 months, and affects normal day to day function.
If you have a physical disability, for example; mobility issues, hearing loss, IBS, Arthritis, if you have had the disability for at least 12 months you may be eligible to receive up to $40,000 from the CRA.
